weird weird. when i was in london, i craved so much for local food like prata, orh jian. etc etc etc
but when i return to this land of our dreams, i lost all this craving some how. conclusion: the weather. when i was in london, when it was cold and gloomy, people tend to crave for HOT and SPICY food. but when im back in sunny singapore, the weather, so HOT and HUMID, i just dont feel like eating those food. -.- how ironic. life's complicated, and one can never ever be satisfied.
these few days have been really weird. the sudden lost of freedom. the interaction with people is a little awkward. and things aren't as cheap as i thought i would be. there's so many things that i want. camera, watch, headphones etc etc. but i realised im really low on cash now. real low. chain hang low.
monday reporting back to camp, and i hope tuesday is day off cos it's SAF day. driving test in less that 2 months time. oh yea, today's driving lesson was good. after not driving for a year, it was kinda hard to start. the anticipation and fear before the lesson. but i think im catching it quite well.
speaking of driving, this really irritates me ALOT. and i mean really. now the system has changed. no longer being able to book the lessons online. cos of the true blue singaporeans. can't you believe it? the August lessons are opening in 2 hours time, and the procedure is to go down to the centre and queue and book for your august lessons. yes, august. and now is still june. all july lessons are fully booked. and im just keeping my finger cross that i will have sufficient practices before the test date itself, despite my really packed and hectic schedule that i can foresee in the next 3 months. camp, polo, driving and sail. yah, my life will be revolving around these few things for the next 3 months. so what happens to climbing, chilling, and meeting ppl and of course family gatherings? i shall play by ear. time, please slow down from this moment onwards. please.
