unexpected journey.

i just received an important email. it's from my canoe polo current club captain. ok basically the email was on AGM, if you don't already know, AGM means Annual General Meeting, which means a new committee for the club will be elected then. yes, and if the question is am i running for anything? i am. i am thinking of running for the Men's team captain. the thing is that this friend of mine, can be considered good friend cos we join polo together, went through much to get into the first team.

so the story somewhat goes like this. initially he wanted to run for the Club Captain. basically the club has the Club Captain aka the president, followed by the respective Men's and Ladies' Team Captain. see where am i heading? because the Club Captain thing was only introduced last year to sort of make things more efficient since someone is really needed to represent the club. then this years committee after much considerations decided to remove this for now. so means there's only the Men's and Ladies' Capt. yes. and my friend decided to run for it now. other than him. another teammate of mine, who is quite close to me is also running for it. basically the three of us are the only from our year who got into the first team. so i think that explains all?

I do have some plans for the Club/Men's Team now. but the thing is that im not a very people person. i can work, but i can talk with people well. and what, AGM is about convincing people. the other two have been really good with the others, not that im not good just that, im kinda neutral and not THAT sociable as other. just the introvert side of me when it comes to people?

Another thing is that the AGM is in mid Feb this year. and im still in my second year. which mean my focus will still be all in my exams. having 11 papers in may/june, taking over a club in mid feb is definitely my concern on how the hell am i suppose to cope!? tell me what to do? somewhat give me some guidance please?!
